Terms of Use

Last updated 4 November 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and Foorent when you use the Foorent app or this website. Please read them carefully. By creating an account, you agree to them.

The short version. Foorent connects neighbours. You agree each rental directly with the other member, pay each other directly, and look after what you borrow. Follow the Community Guidelines and be a good neighbour.

1. Who can use Foorent

2. Your community

You choose the community you live in, and we may ask you to confirm your address, for example with a utility bill. You rent and list within your own community. If you add someone who lives with you to your household, you confirm they really live at your address.

3. What Foorent does, and doesn’t do

Foorent provides the app that lets members list items, find them, agree rentals and chat. Foorent isn’t a party to any rental. The lender and the borrower agree each rental between themselves and are responsible for it, including the item’s condition, safety, pickup and return.

We check new listings before they go live, but we can’t inspect items or guarantee that a listing, an item or a member is as described.

4. Payments and deposits

5. Your listings

6. Rentals

7. When things go wrong

If an item is late, lost or damaged, or a rental doesn’t go as agreed, report it from the rental in the app. We’ll help both sides try to reach a fair outcome, but the decision and any payment are between the lender and the borrower. Foorent doesn’t pay for loss or damage.

8. Our rules

Follow the Community Guidelines. We may remove listings, messages or reviews, pause items, or suspend or close accounts that break these terms or the guidelines, or that put other members at risk. If we can, we’ll tell you why.

9. Reviews

After a rental, both members can review each other and the item. Reviews must be honest and based on a real rental. We may remove reviews that are fake, abusive or break the guidelines.

10. Our responsibility to you

We work hard to keep Foorent running and safe, but we provide it “as is” and can’t promise it will always be available or error-free. To the extent the law allows, Foorent isn’t responsible for any loss or damage arising from rentals, items, or what members do or say. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under UAE law that can’t be limited.

11. Your account

You can delete your account at any time in Settings › Account & security › Delete account, except while a rental is accepted or in progress. See how to delete your account. What happens to your information is explained in our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes

We may update these terms as Foorent changes. We’ll change the date at the top, and if a change is important we’ll tell you in the app before it takes effect. If you keep using Foorent after that, the new terms apply.

13. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Emirate of Dubai and the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates. The courts of Dubai can decide any dispute about them.
